Summer Camp at Bedford Academy

Long considered Metro’s premier Summer Day Camp for elementary school aged children, Bedford Academy will be hosting the camp from July 5th to August 27th. Its hours of operation will be 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Known for a high level of camper supervision and a dynamic program, the camp is entering its seventh year. Based out of Bedford Academy, the children engage in daily field trips to locations within the Halifax Municipality. Afternoon swims at the community outdoor pool along with low organized games in the Academy gymnasium provide each child with activities based on a healthy lifestyle. Art and drama are integrated into the camp day as the creative development aspects of the program.
