It doesn't happen often but when inclement weather causes the cancellation of school parents are asked to check through any of the following information sources to confirm such a cancellation:

• Listen to either CBC Radio One 90.5 or C 100 FM from 6:30am forward

• Phone the school at 835-2384 to hear the voice mail announcement

• Check the main page of the Academy website under "Academy Calendar"

• Check your child's classroom web page and view the Marquee Banner which will run across the top of the Home page.
