Medical A medical note is required from each child's physician. Health regulations require that attendance be prohibited if a child is not free of communicable disease. Please notify Bedford Academy if your child will be absent due to illness or other reasons. Uniforms All students are required to wear Bedford Academy uniforms. Formal clothing is to be bought for daily classes, field trips, special performances and the weekly school Assembly. Athletic clothing for physical education classes, intramurals and team practices can be purchased through the school uniform shop. The school uniform shop is located on site. Holidays The Academy will be closed on all public, December and March Break holidays. Storm Days Bedford Academy will indicate through the school voice mail (835-2384) and CBC radio 90.5 FM any school closures due to inclement weather.
